While the "how" of the anomaly could be elaborated upon, and I don't really understand the ending (which could be elaborated on) this is a solid article I really enjoyed. 4 stars.

The anomaly is a red danger hazard, but there isn't really much indication of it actually being aggressive besides a single line on the containment protocols. It should be a given a sentient anomaly should have the aggression hazard if it's considered a red anomaly.

I've searched through the Bible, and I can't find any mention of this "Malphas" guy anywhere. Looking at his Wikipedia page, it looks like it's a demonology thing, and is about as canon in Abrahamic religions as the extended universe is in Star Wars.

Interesting work, the sensitivity to the religious icons adds a nest touch to it without delving deeply into the cliché of maiing the entire entry focused around the religious aspects. A very good read.
