This is a port of the first SCP article that I wrote, SCP-1990-EX, massively rewritten to fit into the site lore. I came up with the idea after I watched the Paramount Network WACO Series one day and was inspired to write an article exploring the Waco Siege as if it was an anomalous event happening in the SCP universe.
Because the original article turned out to be my highest rated one on the other site, I wanted this port to focus more on the theology and implications of the Waco Siege event. My research was primarily drawn from the book The Branch Davidians of Waco: The History and Beliefs of an Apocalyptic Sect.
