Pretty entertaining article! I enjoyed the clandestine elements of the story and the interactions between the various factions. I would have liked to see more of the anomaly's effects on different people, maybe say through old archived logs of people who got terminated by the Corp over the things they saw. Along with that, I would have liked to see more exploration of the asteroid and temple. All in all though, a solid entry in the Cosmic Embers canon.

Font types used were irregular, with an extraordinary effort put into aesthetics, yet were surprisingly in English.
Suggestion: "The font types used were inconsistent, and a considerable amount of attention was devoted to their aesthetic appeal; however, they were unexpectedly written in English."
Questioning Windows 9500 made it clear that it kept the ship operational since its captain’s departure 146 days ago.

After verbally reprogramming Windows 9500, whose protocol was changed from [follow the orders of anyone lying down in bed] to [follow orders from anyone wearing a GRPC logo], nothing else was noted as being of interest, aside from a small palm tree that was believed to have gone extinct after the extinction of all life on Earth.
Suggestion: "After reprogramming the Windows 9500 protocol from [execute order of any individual recumbent in bed] to [execute orders from any individual wearing a GRPC uniform], the investigation then uncovered a small palm tree species believed to have gone extinct after the Earth's mass extinction event."
2min 12seconds later, the S.S. Lunar Lover took aggressive actions against the S.S. Leonov, which took aggressive actions, forcing the S.S. Lunar Lover to maneuver behind GRP-014-1.
Suggestion: "After 2min 12sec, the S.S. Lunar Lover reacted to the S.S. Leonov's aggressive actions by executing an evasive maneuver, positioning itself behind GRP-014-1."

Shouldn't the GRPC have a response force closer to the Vega system? By the time any backup would arrive at the location, the emergency would have likely ended.
It was right after we entered the Vega System. Our entire crew was getting these weird feelings, our officer was shouting about another Drunkmen drive malfunction, but this one felt different like my emotions were being played with intentionally.
Suggestion: "As we crossed into the Vega System, a strange sensation swept through the ship. Our officer was shouting about another Drunkmen drive malfunction, but this time it felt different; like something was manipulating our emotions."
Sound of pencil on paper
Missing period.
EDIT: One minor critique I have is the password screen. Disregard this, I didn't see that the box automatically provides a hint that gives you the password.
