This was straightforward and well-executed for the most part, but there are a few points that irk me. For one, all of the characters seem to speak like contemporary parodies of their likenesses. I guess that's not out of place for the tone, but it's jarring when the article itself talks about "cross-referencing archived writings".
After CSD-1927 was terminated as a result of testing refusal
Am I to believe that CSD-1927 was executed for refusing to interact with a low-risk object? Either he's damn persistent, or the Authority is just damn stupid. If this happened nowadays (which it wouldn't, because refusing to test with this is silly and they could easily get another person for the job), it would probably lead to higher-level CSD assignment at worst.
And the concluding incident log is bad and pointless lolAuthority. The article would be better if it were removed outright.
It got its point across, and was, at times, silly for the right reasons. Not bad, 4/5
