The Hazard Poker Contest: Contact

Superspambot (@superspambot) to be assigned a "hand" of four random hazards. You have one chance to ask the dealer to reshuffle any number of them, but beware: you still don't know what you'll get! Your article must include these hazards, along with any others that you decide to include yourself. Upload your submission with the tag "hazardpoker". The highest-rated article at the end shall win!
…But that's only half the fun. Each card you get corresponds to a point value in the table below: the more obscure the hazard, the higher its value.

The Card Shark award goes to the writer who can pull off an article with the highest value hand. To qualify for this award, however, your entry must earn a site rating of 3.5 or higher.
Optional Challenge: But wait, there's more! If you want to test your luck further and gain an edge on the competition, you can ask the dealer for a fifth card before receiving your hand. And, if you take this chance, you can bet your own Discord Toddbux into the pot for the Card Shark award: just announce your bet to your dealer and then give them the appropriate amount.
The winner of the Card Shark award will receive a 10,000 Toddbux blind, all other bets, and double their own. If there is a tie in this category, the higher bidder wins.
Rules
- For this contest, submissions are limited to one per person.
- Your article must follow normal uploading rules; do not coldpost!
- If you and another writer collaborate on an entry, you may choose either of your hands to use.
- Do not abuse or unfairly manipulate voters.
- Using alt accounts or other deceitful means of vote manipulation will result in disqualification and a ban from future contests.
Deadlines
Submissions close July 13th at 11:59PM EST. Winners will be announced July 19th.
First place will go to the highest-rated article and net its author bragging rights. The top three entrants will be featured on the front page. The winner of the Card Shark award will receive a minimum 10,000 Toddbux payout.
