Description: RPC-549 is a set of two interconnected anomalous machinery, designated RPC-549-1 and -2. Both components are damaged to an unknown degree and have lost four related components, including input interface. Each individual component of RPC-549 acts independently, administered by an attached non-anomalous AI. This AI, designated RPC-549-3N, is considered Neutralized due to a destroyed/missing/corrupted vital code. Following the neutralization of RPC-549-3N, both components are configured in a "standby mode." This allows for the simultaneous activation of both components through their individual control systems only during the following circumstances:

• ACS level drops below 3.²
• ACS level rises to 4.
• Certain components of RPC-549-2 are damaged.
• RPC-549-2 is destroyed.
• RPC-549 presumes lethal force is used against it.³
• Removal of internal power storage is attempted.

Each individual component of RPC-549 must be powered down through an internal switch located next to the internal control CPU.

RPC-549-1 is the larger component of RPC-549 and consists of the following: two sensor systems (visual), an inactive telecommunication system, an internal CPU, two emergency power storages, and an interdimensional rift generator. It is theorized that RPC-549-1 is capable of altering the rift frequency, permitting travel to a number of dimensions. Due to the absence of the input interface; however, RPC-549-1 is constantly set to a frequency of 345-223-XXX, corresponding either to the current dimension or [DATA EXPUNGED] (See Addendum 549-2). RPC-549-1 contains an internal server in which RPC-549-3N is stored. RPC-549-1 is also capable of transporting itself by generating a rift 0.50 m below its exact location.

Rifts generated by RPC-549-1 are largely stable. However, due to circumstances pertaining to RPC-549-2, access to said rifts are often impossible.

RPC-549-2 is a localized coherency stabilizer, composed primarily of an unknown steel alloy. RPC-549-2 additionally possesses an internal cooling system, an internal CPU, and emergency power storage. RPC-549-2 exhibits severe thermal damage, resulting in unstable functionality. While active, RPC-549-2 immediately attempts to lower local ACS level to an estimate of 0.7. This generates unstable topology within a 1 km radius, significantly restricting its ease of navigation/movement. Areas affected by RPC-549-2 often exhibit spontaneous mutations in local fauna, and in less than 10% of cases, development of topologically inconsistent buildings of variable nature. Organisms affected by RPC-549-2 exhibit proficient adaptation, being able to navigate the affected environment without detriment.

When RPC-549 is activated, both components simultaneously engage their properties. RPC-549-1 immediately attempts to displace itself to a different location. Once RPC-549-1 has been successfully activated, RPC-549-2 (if intact) enters an indefinite operation mode, continuously decreasing the local ACS level. This causes the subsequent reactivation of RPC-549-1, continuing until both components are depleted.

RPC-549 exhibits significant vulnerability to physical, thermal, and water damage. Effects pertaining to the destruction of RPC-549-1 are unknown; however, it is theorized to cause a localized rift of indeterminate properties.

Discovery: RPC-549 was the focal point to a spatial anomaly localized within an anomalous metal tower, extending 25 meters above ground, located in [REDACTED], Africa. Said anomalous building, classified RPC-549-AN, was inaccessible due to topological abnormalities. Direct entry could only be achieved through a small rectangular opening positioned 5 meters above ground. RPC-549 was located in an underground basement below the main floor. The exterior of the tower exhibited a number of incoherent inscriptions written in English. An engraved unknown sigil was located above the main entrance.

Local fauna exhibited a series of mutations, including:

• Generation of additional appendages.
• Hardening of epidermis, equivalent to an exoskeleton.
• Production of acidic fluids replacing blood and chlorophyll.
• Cessation of reproduction (sterility).
• Indefinite growth.
• Increased aggression.

A number of incinerated human corpses, designated RPC-549-AN-1 through -27, were located within RPC-549-AN. All instances wore clothing correlating to various military uniforms of unknown manufacturer. DNA tests were conducted on RPC-549-AN-1 through -6 and RPC-549-AN-9 through -12; results produced correlation to various Authority-affiliated individuals.

Following RPC-549's deactivation and subsequent relocation to Site-077, RPC-549-AN, RPC-549-AN-1 through -27, and all affected fauna dematerialized. Topological abnormalities; however, remained for a period of six hours.
