Containment Protocols: The remains of RPC-569 are to be kept in a standard non-humanoid containment chamber at Site-096. Given its nature, no attempts are to be made to repair or recreate it. Personnel must wear level-C or above PPE while handling RPC-569 to avoid conflicting DNA signatures.
Description: RPC-569 is the current designation for the remains of an unknown experimental aircraft, which currently consists of 142 pieces of metal debris, 191 pieces of highly reinforced advanced polymer glass, 225 pieces of lead and graphite shielding, and seven unique pieces of debris recovered from the wreckage of RPC-569. A comprehensive list of all unique articles of debris can be found below:
- One heavily perforated piece of reinforced titanium alloy bearing the insignia of the United States Air Force.
- One heavily torn and perforated scrap of material composed of, but not limited to: neoprene, nylon, kevlar, and aluminum.
- One perforated seat consisting of aluminum and polyurethane foam. The seat contains numerous splinters of metal and glass and appears almost entirely coated in human blood, spinal fluid, pleural fluid, and waste products.
- Eighteen human teeth, two human toes, the partially incomplete remains of a human sternum, three strands of human optic nerves, and one perforated human finger. All remains recovered were determined to have originated from United States Air Force pilot, Major Thomas Vance.1
- One heavily dented and mangled aircraft flight recorder. Although efforts are ongoing to recover usable audio from it, the Authority has only managed to recover a few fragments, which can be found below.
- One extremely damaged engine, found to contain a heavily damaged and mangled polyhedral device, hereafter designated as RPC-569-1. The engine is plated using obsidian slabs with heavily weathered manuscripts carved in. The characters resemble modified Aztec script. RPC-569-1's origin is as of yet unknown.
- One malformed 1 x 1 x 1 meter long cuboid structure, comprised of titanium alloy, moon rock, and trace amounts of human bone.
Discovery: The Authority first became aware of RPC-569 after an Authority satellite detected an unidentified aircraft rapidly exiting the Earth's thermosphere before abruptly accelerating to an estimated speed of 492,666 kilometers per hour. This velocity caused RPC-569 to strike the moon's surface, creating an impact crater approximately 50 kilometers in diameter.
Recovered Documentation: Following the interview the United States government surrendered all documentation relating to RPC-569 and RPC-569-1, as per their agreement with the Authority, including but not limited to:
- 14 file cabinets containing bureaucratic documents.
- 9 diagrams and blueprints depicting an early version of RPC-569.
- A series of 12 photographs depicting RPC-569 during its construction.
- 50 research documents on RPC-569-1.
- 8 heavily worn and degraded stone tablets of Aztec origin depicting RPC-569-1 being utilized by several Aztec figures and deities.
Notably, a journal and a university research paper on RPC-569-1 were included in the documents. All were determined to have been written by Warren H. Jennings, a doctoral archeology student at Harvard University, and a key figure in the "ancient aliens" community, who anonymously published several short essays related to the theory. Jennings mentioned RPC-569-1 several times throughout various essays, usually concerning its anti-gravitation properties.
However, he would rarely, if ever, discuss RPC-569-1 in full and instead seemed to use as a means of transitioning towards the discussion of further Mesoamerican or otherwise ancient theories relating to extraterrestrials. Additionally, records indicate that the USAF employed Jennings after successfully acquiring RPC-569-1. A log detailing RPC-569-1's discovery can be found below.
Several testing logs about the United States Air Force's attempt to utilize RPC-569-1 were discovered in the documents provided to the Authority. Due to the large quantity of testing logs provided, some information has been omitted from this article. Furthermore, only relevant information about RPC-569 and RPC-569-1 can be found below. NOTE: Throughout the recovered documents the USAF refers to RPC-569 as "the craft," and RPC-569-1, as "the device."
Following the transcription of the information provided in the recovered documentation, audio recordings of RPC-569-1, all stone tablets related to it, and several testing documents were sent to SOUTHCOM due to its high density of researchers knowledgeable in Mesoamerican cultures.
Approximately three months after this, Dr. Alejandro Jimenez contacted Dr. Livingston, an expert in Mesoamerican and extraterrestrial research. Furthermore, Dr. Jimenez expressed his interest in examining RPC-569-1's remains; as of this writing his request is still pending.
Addendum: Shortly following the interview with Dr. Jimenez, the Authority informed the United States Air Force of its findings, and advised them to discontinue testing. The USAF promptly replied to the Authority and informed them that while they will continue to search for and refine anti-gravity and rapid acceleration technology, they will not be utilizing any further instance of RPC-569-1, should they exist. Furthermore, the USAF informed the Authority that due to Dr. Jennings' gross incompetence, failure to adhere to proper testing protocol, and negligence resulting in the death of Major Vance, he has been officially stripped of his rank, and is awaiting a court martial. However, the USAF also requested the return of RPC-569's wreckage and has vehemently requested the Authority to refrain from interfering with them further. As of this writing their request is still pending, and negotiations are still ongoing.
