RPC-703 promptly after reappearing after a zero state event.
Registered Phenomena Code: 703
Object Class: Alpha-Yellow
Hazard Types: Regenerative, Destabilization, Temporal, Explosive, Extreme Temperature, Gravitational
Containment Protocols: RPC-703 is to be kept in a frozen state at all times. The containment chamber must always remain at a temperature below -30°C. Any attempts to convert RPC-703 to a liquid state or gaseous state will result in immediate clearance level demotion.
Description: RPC-703 is a bottle of Sprite Zero. Every 24 hours, it will undergo a "zero state" in which a specific attribute that can be measured or determined will become exactly zero. This effect ranges from zero temperature, zero mass, zero gravity, etc. The zero state however, can be altered by environmental factors, such as room temperature increasing the temperature of RPC-703.
RPC-703 despite being impossible to destroy by non-anomalous means and outside forces, may be destroyed by certain zero states, however it will reappear after 24 hours, although it will have no anomalous properties until the next 24 hours after initial reappearance. RPC-703 has also shown to always contain 20 fl oz of Sprite Zero.
Multiple different states of zero have been documented, however newer states of zero are still observed. The states that RPC-703 cycles through do not seem to be in order. Non-anomalous freezing has proven to be able to pause the cycle.
Consumption of RPC-703 will result in the consumer experiencing a zero state, which usually results in death. Consumers do not return to normal, nor do they cycle through different states.
Foreign substances do not mix with RPC-703. It also does not react with any substance. No other similar instances have been found since containment.
Logs are listed in chronological order. Equipment was set up within the testing chamber to automatically measure any changes to determine what physical properties were affected.
RPC: 703
Date: 1/19/2019
Zero State Type: 0°C / 32°F (Testing chamber temperature was 0°C / 32°F)
Results: Froze within 7 hours.
RPC: 703
Date: 1/20/2019
Zero State Type: 0% reflectance
Results: Became completely pitch-black, reflecting no radiation including visible light.
Notes: None
RPC: 703
Date: 1/21/2019
Zero State Type: -17.7°C (0°F) (Testing chamber temperature was -17.7°C)
Results: Froze within 7 hours.
Notes: None
RPC: 703
Date: 1/22/2019
Zero State Type: 0 gravity
Results: RPC-703 floated throughout the testing chamber.
Notes: None
RPC: 703
Date: 1/23/2019
Zero State Type: 0 kilograms
Results: Unaffected by gravity due to having no weight, zero gravity effects were observed in RPC-703.
Notes: RPC-703 still retained its weight, as it appeared on a scale and required some effort to move.
RPC: 703
Date: 1/24/2019
Zero State Type: 0 width
Results: The height of RPC-703 increased from 22.7 cm to 39.7 cm as RPC-703 became a two-dimensional object, possessing only length and height. The length of RPC-703 was not affected.
Notes: The height was increased most likely to accommodate the containment of 20 fl oz of Sprite Zero.
RPC: 703
Date: 1/25/2019
Zero State Type: 0 pressure
Results: Immediately imploded due to the difference between the pressure of RPC-703 and outside pressure. Reappeared 24 hours later.
Notes: Equipment was unable to measure the pressure levels before the implosion of RPC-703, however it was deduced that zero pressure had resulted in the implosion as it would be the only other cause of an implosion.
RPC: 703
Date: 1/27/2019
Zero State Type: -273°C (0 K)
Results: RPC-703 at a state of absolute zero temperature and did not exhibit any apparent effects aside from freezing.
Notes: None
RPC: 703
Date: 1/28/2019
Zero State Type: 0 mol / mass / atomic mass
Results: Completely disappeared without a trace, effectively breaking conservation laws.
Notes: The area previously occupied by RPC-703 had likely become a vacuum before being filled by air. The reappearance of RPC-703 had also resulted in the apparent destruction of all air that had filled the area occupied.
The inside of RPC-703 also contained air when it had reappeared, as the contents of RPC-703 did not boil as they would if it had existed in a vacuum.
RPC: 703
Date: 1/30/2019
Zero State Type: 0 decibels
Results: Ceased to produce / reflect any sound.
Notes: None
RPC: 703
Date: 1/31/2019
Zero State Type: 0 time
Results: Object disappeared due to existing within no timeline at all. Personnel stationed during the event claimed that RPC-703 never existed and that any documentations of RPC-703 were false. After reappearing, personnel acknowledged the existence of RPC-703 and were able to recall memories of it.
Notes: For clarification, RPC-703 experiencing "zero time" would therefore mean it would not have any time to experience reality. RPC-703 deemed a Temporal Hazard.
RPC: 703
Date: 2/2/2019
Zero State Type: 0°N 0°E
Results: Object was relocated to 0°N 0°E.
Notes: GPS attachment to RPC-703 allowed for personnel to determine the coordinates of RPC-703.
RPC: 703
Date: 2/3/2019
Zero State Type: Anderson Coherency Scale (ACS) of 0
Results: Object was unable to be described. Further information is Level-4 classified.
Notes: None
